Pearl Mason Designs has been called “the home of finger puppets”. For nearly four decades we have been manufacturing original, high-quality felt finger puppets in the UK. With a vast range of characters from children’s literature and nursery rhymes; animals from field and forest (and the jungle!); famous faces from history and people at work, Pearl Mason Designs has excited the imagination of millions of children throughout the world - and has brought a smile to the faces of countless adults as well. Pearl Mason Designs has created unique educational resources that parents and teachers will find invaluable for stimulating children’s learning through creative play.

What we do
Based in the UK, we are one of the leading manufacturers of finger puppets. Starting from traditional stories, the natural world or commissions from a wide variety of organisations, we produce the original designs for all of our puppets. Using specially-made cutters we then produce the felt shapes, bodies and features that form our finger puppets. Working to the highest standards of quality and care we take pride in the fact that all our finger puppets are handmade here in the UK.

We also print and design the distinctive backing cards that complement all our products. These often include original illustrations, nursery rhymes and traditional stories. (We have produced puppets for a large number of international clients - and have translated text into French, Italian and other languages).

Pearl Mason Designs also specialises in designing, adapting and producing finger puppets and bespoke packaging for a range of organisations in the private, public and voluntary sectors (see below).

All of our finger puppet sets come in a protective sealed plastic pack. We can also include a sef-adhesive hook for retail display.
